Each day we make choices that influence our overall health trends. Left unchecked, automatic responses to our environment at work and home often lead us toward negative influences. Taking inventory of our health habits increases the chance that those every day choices will stay on the healthier side.

When a health inventory reveals that our habits are not aligned with our desires, we gain self awareness needed to make changes. 

Momentum toward positive change is likely to stall and setbacks will occur. Clients have told us that taking a health inventory regularly helps keep them on track and get restarted much sooner than they otherwise would. That’s why we recommend taking the health inventory every ninety days or with every change in season.

Health Inventory

The Health Inventory is an online thinking tool to help you gain the clarity you need to feel vibrant every day. Just like an inventory found in a warehouse or retail store, the Health Inventory is a complete list of everyday habits that have been proven to contribute to resilience. When you take the Health Inventory, you answer a sequence of questions spanning eight components of health and well-being. Taking the Health Inventory can help you begin a process of self discovery and awareness.

Completing the Health Inventory is your way to:

In about 15 minutes you answer questions about your habits within each of eight prime components of health:

WARNING: If you are not quite where you wish you were in terms of healthy living, taking the Health Inventory may be uncomfortable or trigger negative self talk. However, when you read through the Insights Report, we hope you see that there are simple steps you can take to start the journey to optimal health.

Consider your PHTI score a personal benchmark for wellness. Your score measures how well you are unlocking your natural capacity for well-being.

The PHTI was created with the philosophy that we must never take good health for granted. Instead, we must be intentional about defending time for healthy living. We must track the most important information and we must focus on practical and actionable small steps in real time.

Within the Proactive Health Trends Indicator, there are four trends with characteristics that can be standardized: illness, preillness, health, and fitness. The PHTI reflects what your future health status will be if you keep everything about your lifestyle the same. 

Four Capacities of Health and Well-Being

At My Health Inventory, the four capacities of health and well-being are healing, energy, defense, and resiliency. Your body is on your side. When given the right ingredients, your body has a natural capacity for healing, energizing, and defending itself. Your mindset toward healthy living rounds off these capacities to create resiliency. Maximizing the four capacities requires a set of skills that can be practiced. Healthy living is the full expression of this combined practice.

Below we provide our definitions for each of the four capacities.

Defense is  your ability to protect yourself from future health problems, especially heart attacks, stroke, diabetes, and cancer. Defense is derived from the benefits of exercise combined with physical activity and movement.

Healing is  your ability to heal from injury or illness. Healing is derived from the benefits of sleep enhanced by rest and ensured through recovery.

Energy is your ability to energize a positive day-to-day experience. Optimally, your sources of energy will be varied and include a high quality diet, strong relationships, and time to yourself for emotional balance.

Resilience is your ability to ensure positive coping with stress. Resilience occurs when your understanding of how habits interrelate translates into proactivity toward healthy living.

What age level is the Health Inventory assessment appropriate for?

My Health Inventory is appropriate for most adults ages 18 to 65 years. For those with particular medical concerns, please talk with your doctor about questions and concerns.

How long does it take to complete the Health Inventory?

About fifteen minutes on average.

Do you offer discounts for group purchases?

Can I retake the Health Inventory?

Each access code is for one health inventory. However, we recommend you come back to retake the inventory every 90 days or so. As you make healthy chances, you’ll be able to see real results and new insights based on how you’re doing.

Does my access code expire?

Your access code is a one-time use code. If you do not use your code, it will expire after one year.

What should I do if I didn't receive my access code?

First of all, we are so sorry this happened. Usually our technology works much better than this and we want to make it right. Let’s troubleshoot. 1. Check your spam folder for an email from MyHealthInventory.com 2. While codes typically arrive within a few minutes, please allow one hour to see if your code will make its way through internet traffic. 3. Please email sales@myhealthinventory.com with the subject line: Code not received. In the body of your email, please provide the confirmation number of your purchase. We will provide a code within 2 to 3 business days or return your money.

What is your return policy?

If you purchase a code and then decide not to use it, we unfortunately do not issue refunds.
